Social Likeness: They are very social creatures among themselves and other species
Tameable: Yes, they make great pets

Concept: Bytx are the most populated animals on the planet of ZYX, wielding supernatural magic they have the ability to take different forms in order to fit in the society they live in. They are generally friendly creatures that many of the humans on ZYX make them as pets and companions. They are very loyal animals and once bonded to someone will obey and love them forever.

Male Bytx: Shown in Figure 3 & 4 Males tend to be large and bulky usually they have shorter fur with more define muscle structure. However they usually have a thicker mane and long tuffs on their paws. They have thicker armoring and have spikes on their pelvic bone that aid them in battle (make sure they cannot be attacked from behind) and for display (larger the spikes means the healthier the male is and it means they are possibly a better mate). Their antennas tend to be thick, solid, straighten and sharp.

Female Bytx: Shown in Figure 5 & 6 Female have long slender bodies and longer legs build for speed. They are quicker and more agile than their male counterparts. They usually have longer fur yet it’s soft and thinned out. They have long horse like manes that commonly hangs over their face. They have tuffs on their paws too but they are usually smaller than males. On their antennas they have feather like fluff on the end that gets longer and thicker as they age

.: Bytx Sex Ed :.
Note this is very detailed, if you do not what to read this, please skip this and go straight to aging

Males: The male’s genital aka penis is a mixture of a horse and a dogs. They are about 10 – 12 inches long and 3 inches in width. They have rounded ridges in their shafts like ripples, usually 3 to 5 ridges. They have a knot located at the base with is always there. Their sac is usually hidden under their fur

Females: Female have a opening facing downwards just below their anus. It’s much like a dog’s with a protective triangle shaped lip around it to protect it. It’s often hidden in their fur.

Hermaphrodites It isn’t uncommon for a bytx to be born both genders. Usually you can tell by how they appear physically, since they are have attributes of both genders. How usually it’s either they are more of one than the other. If they are more male they are called More Male Herms or MMH (F7). MMH’s have a penis like a normal male but has a smaller than average uterus enabling them to be impregnated. For a MMH to get pregnant they must have anal sex with another male. Just before the colon on the inside in their disgust track they have a separate usually closed off track that leads to their uterus. Getting a MMH pregnant is very hard but not impossibly. There is a limit to how many pups they can have since they only produced so many eggs since they only have 1 very tiny ovary.
For More Female Herms or MFH (F8), they have the normal vaginal opening but have another opening more in between their legs. This opening is where a more flexible tube like penis is hidden inside the MFH’s body. They have a harder time getting females pregnant since they do not produce that much sperm. They only have 1 small testicle inside their body.

.: Aging :.
Newborn (Birth) – Pup (10 yrs): Shown in Figure 1 Newborns to being a Young Pup, are usually pudgy short legged creatures with a flat face, small ears and a short tail. From birth they are about 1 ft high and 2-3 ft long. They are unable to see properly yet because their “eyes” (see more detail in Anatomy) aren’t developed and used to the outside world yet. They move through smell, the mother will also guide them. They nurse for about a whole year before they finally stop and grown into the first stages of being a young pup. By the time they are 1 – 5 years old they are more active and are starting to eat soft food like berries and tender meats. They can see now and are very curious and adventurous since they want to explore the new world around them. They stick with their mother though, they never venture to far in case of danger. At this age they don’t have much of differences between male or female yet since their manes, tuffs, antenna and armor have yet to grown in or fully develop. Once they are 10 to 15 years old they are starting to grow larger and are making their way into their early teen-hood.

Child (10+) – Teenage (100+) Shown in Figure 2 As a child they are merely growing in size and depending on their sex muscle build and length in their body. Once at the age 100, they hit puberty. This cause they to start grown the differences that each sex has physical; such as their manes and paw tuffs. For males they are start to get their spikes when are merely round bumps at first but length to uniquely shaped spikes. For females, their bodies begin to grow length and they start getting long manes and feathers on their antennas. Both sexes, once they hit puberty start to gain their sex drive. At first it’s almost uncontrollable, Males tend to grown violent and solitary at this time because they are dealing with mixed up emotions. Female however tend to go more loveable and clingy towards specific others they are bonded too, it doesn’t have to just be a potential mate; such as parents, siblings, owners (if any) or others they are surrounded by they have formed a bond with. All these uncontrollable emotions calm about after their first few mating season and they learn to control their urges.

Adulthood (200+) – Elder (500+) Shown in Figure 3, 4, 5 & 6 Once they hit adulthood they are fully developed and have full control over their emotions. The only thing that happens now is they grow larger with age. Males can grown to be almost twice their size. Depending on their gender is how they age from Adult to Elder. Elder doesn’t mean they are old, they are just stronger and more sturdy than teenagers or even adults at times. They live about 500 years after they hit elder-hood.

.: Anatomy :.
Paws: Shown in Figure 10a, b, c, d Their pawns are canine like, their claws don’t retract like a feline does. Unlikely a cane though, they have only 3 toes on each foot. On their front paws they their inner toe is replaced with a raptor like claw that varies in shape and size (F20a, b, c)

Teeth: Shown in Figure 13a, b They have about 54 teeth all together. 12 front teeth that are sharp, 2 that are snake like retractable fangs, 15 that are also sharp and 5 that are molars. The retractable snake like teeth are also filled with poisons that can be concentrated to stun or be deadly.

Tail: Shown in Figure 19a, b, c, d, e Usually a bytxs tail is thick and crocodile like but can range in thicker or thin and longer or shorter styles.

Skeleton and Muscle: Shown in Figure 15 The Bytx is a quadruped animal that is much like the mixture of an average equine and a large feline. They have the thick horse body with the large yet short legs of a typical lion or tiger. They have a muscular crocodile like tail that is very flexible despite how thick it may appear. Every bytx has protective armor on its head (known as the Beak) and on its back (known as Plates), these armor pieces are actually a flexibly steady form of bone that is in fact attach to its skeleton.

Beak Armor: The Beck or the Armor on their faces can vary in shape but usually have the bird like beak look (F14a). Some may have horns (F14c)), spikes (F14b) or “mouthguards” (F14d) but they can be however they like. The shape of their beak is usually passed down from generation to generation.

Plate Armor: The Plates are their back are flexible and strong. They tend to overlay in a scale like pattern. Usually the plates are rounded like scales but can be sharper and vary in shape altogether. At the end of their tails, the plates can have spikes that either go vertical (F18a) or horizontal (F18b). Sometimes they can flatten out to form a tail fin effect (f18c)

.: The Senses :.

Sight: Bytx do not have real eyes like most other animals do. They have two different opening in their beak they can register light and heat. One opening registers just light, like color but not define shape. While the other opening registers heat in the form or a define shape (like an arua). They brain automatically overlays their two senses and creatures an image that they can see. Like a normal animal, these openings are also closed at first and need to develop before being about to see the world.

Smell: In their first stages of life, smell is the most important sense, since they can’t see they must use their noses to determine when they are and where they can find food and shelter. Their sense of smell is 5 times that of a dog.

Hearing: Hearing is also very important, hence the large ears. They can pick up sounds and actually control what frequencies they can heard. They literally have selective hearing.

Touch: Their paws, antennas and fur acts as sensitive units for detecting textures and vibration. They used this to see as well if they are having difficulties observing the world around them.

Taste: They have very sensitive taste buds, they can pick on specific tastes mostly salty and sweet.

.: Coloring :.
Common: Shown in Figure 21 Commonly all bytx are suppose to be dark animals with bright almost neon markings. The common for their dark base coat is black, grey, brown, red and blue. The neon markings can be any color in the rainbow that is bright and light.

Light: Shown in Figure 22 Light Coated Bytx are like the “blonde” animals of the bytx world. They don’t necessarily mean they have to be blond or golden in color, it means their base coat are usually light in color. They are still dull and pale but they are not very dark. Common colors for this coloring base colt is tan, green, light grey, pink, purple and other pale color forms not white or extremely light though. The marking are still neon and bright.

Albino: Shown in Figure 23 It’s uncommon for a bytx to be born this way, but it sometimes happens. Usually if a bytx is born this way, their base coat is white or light-light grey. They markings are pale and almost invisible against their already white color. The common colors for their markings are blue, pink, light tan, grey and pale yellow/gold. Ablinos tend to have thicker fur and other deformities.

Sparkle: Shown in Figure 24 “Sparkle Bytx” is the official unofficial name for bytx they are completely neon colored. They have no dark base coat like normal and usually can be very wildly colored. They can be any color under the rainbow.

Dark: Shown in Figure 25 Dark Bytxs are usually bytx that do not have neon markings. They have dark base coat and dark markings. These bytx may have Shadi/Demon blood in their heritage so may be more violent and aloof than normal bytx.

Glow: Mostly all bytx no matter what coloring can glow. Usually their marking, armor and antennas glow though.

.: Forms :.
Depending on where they live and how they live is what forms they prefer to take. They usually have to return to their natural form every few days but it depends on the will of the individual. The common forms they take is Anthro (F26) with is a bipedal humanoid form, Kemonomimi (or Kemo) (F27) with is a more humanoid form; they still have the ears, beak and tail, Human (F28), A full human form, Taur (F29) A half form where they have a human or kemo form on top with their regular bytx body on bottom, Satyr (F30) is when they have a human or kemo upper half but their legs are like the back legs of their bytx form. Last but not less, their mini form (F31) which is like a small cat sized form that bytx may take

.: Hybrids :.

First of All How is this Possible? On the planet ZYX, the first known animal was in fact the Bytxeaess Species. It was the first to really arise and live after the planet when through a terrible event that wiped almost every other animal out of existence. Since most of the bytx species was gone their was chances of inbreeding which the bytxs (being more intelligent than the average animal) understood it could cause great amounts of genetic damage. So they adapted. They made it so they could breed with animal with similar DNA. Even if it isn't perfectly matched, they can still do it. Through these interspecies breeding new species were created and each of these species branched and branched until they become the full kingdom of animals now on ZYX.

Now, because all animal technically descended from bytx's long ago, it means that most of the creatures and the bytx have similar DNA. Thus making it possibly for them to breed with other animal and create the hybrids being shown.
